New Adult by by Timothy Janovsky is $3.34 at Amazon! It doesn’t appear to be on sale for elsewhere. I wasn’t a huge fan of this one as I felt the main character to be pretty unsympathetic but your mileage may vary!
If you’re a fan of Connie Willis, I would suggest you give this series a try. It doesn’t take itself quite so seriously, and Max as a heroine and audience surrogate is a lot of fun. It’s potentially a commitment, given that there are 9 books and a bunch of novellas, but I’m looking forward to making a dent in my TBR pile to read the next book.

The Nothing Girl by Jodi Taylor is 99c! This is book one in the Frogmorton Farm series and it’s giving me British chick lit with light magical elements vibes. Have any of you read this one?
Circe by Madeline Miller is $4.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and it’s being price matched. I know $4.99 is a little higher for books we feature on sale, but everyone and their mom has been loving Circe. I want to say that most of my book group has read it by now. Have you read it? Does it live up to the hype?
Stripped is an uncomplicated romance between two goofy, sexy people. It has a sweetness to it that’s reminiscent of a contemporary friends to lovers trope. If that hits all of your buttons, do read this!
RECOMMENDED: Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen is $2.99! This author became an auto-buy for me after I read this book as a part of a GoodReads reading challenge. I would liken this book to women’s fiction with a magical realism slant. It’s heartwarming and beautiful and has a 4-star rating on GR. I even wrote a Keeper Shelf squee for it; that’s how much I love this book.
RECOMMENDED: Sleepover by Serena Bell is $1.99! Elyse recently read this one and loved it. She gave it an A:
I really, really love a contemporary romance that features an emotionally fluent hero and real conflict that’s handled with respect and intelligence. Sleepover by Serena Bell hit both these nails on the head, making it one of the best, most emotionally satisfying contemporary romances I’ve read this year. It’s also got some crazy-hot sex scenes which is a nice bonus.
Bedmates by Nichole Chase is $1.99! I talked about this book in October 2016’s Hide Your Wallet and it’s an enemies to friends to lovers romance. Readers say this romance is definitely on the sweeter side of new adult, so if you’re looking for a lot of angst, this book isn’t for you.
New York, Actually by Sarah Morgan is 99c! This is a price-matched Kindle Daily Deal. Feel free to check out the rest of today’s deals. Some readers found this to be a charming contemporary romance, while others took some issues with the hero’s behavior in pursuing the heroine.
