For the UK Bitchery, The Great British Bake-Off is launching a subscription box. It seems like each box will be dedicated to a recipe. Each box features one bespoke piece of kitchen equipment, a recipe card, and the dry ingredients needed for the recipe. The first box will teach you how to make a signature chocolate cake. I’m jealous there isn’t a US option!

Growing up, my Muslim family never celebrated Christmas. This year I am not going home, because pandemic, so my roommates are teaching me how to have my first proper Christmas.

The Addams Family house is amazing!
The SNL sketch is just too real to be funny. Although it is funny. And real. And sad. The sketch fits perfectly with Muhammed Hussain’s outsider’s view of Christmas. Given enough time and observation, Hussain would definitely have to add the whole “the one who is primarily responsible for the good stuff is the one who benefits least.” Ah, Christmas.
