  • Men Under the Mistletoe

    Men Under the Mistletoe by

Men Under the Mistletoe is $1.99! This is a holiday anthology of four gay romances. I believe all four are contemporary romances, though I also read that one story might have a fantasy element and a menage scene. Additionally, if you only want to read one or two of the four, the novellas in this anthology should be available to purchase on their own.

    Baby it’s Cold Outside

A man receives the gift of pleasure at the hands of two expert lovers. Boyhood sweethearts get a second chance at romance. Two very proper gentlemen indulge their forbidden desires. And a Christmas tree farmer has an epiphany. It may be cold outside but these four holiday novellas will warm you up.

    Anthology includes:

    Lone Star by Josh Lanyon
    Winter Knights by Harper Fox
My True Love Gave to Me by Ava March
The Christmas Proposition by K.A. Mitchell

  • His Wicked Kiss

His Wicked Kiss by Gaelen Foley

His Wicked Kiss by Gaelen Foley is $1.99! This historical romance is the seventh and final book in the Knight Miscellany series, but can be read on its own. Readers loved the tomboy heroine, though found the middle of the book really dragged. There’s also a forced proximity element to this one as well. It has a 3.9-star rating on Goodreads.

From emerald jungles to the high seas to the glittering ballrooms of Regency London, beloved author Gaelen Foley tells a sweeping, sensual tale of the ruggedly handsome Lord Jack Knight and the passionate beauty who lays claim to his heart.

An English rose blooming in the untamed jungles of South America, Eden Farraday lives a life of independence-unheard of for a lady-with her doctor-turned-scientist father. But Eden misses England desperately. When the dangerous and darkly charming Lord Jack Knight sails into her life, she seizes her chance to return to civilization, stowing away aboard his London-bound ship.

Roguish and charismatic, a self-made shipping tycoon with a shadowy past and a well-guarded heart, Jack is sailing on a vital secret mission. When the redheaded temptress is discovered aboard his vessel, he reacts with fury-and undeniable lust. Forced to protect her from his rough crew, the devilish Lord Jack demands a scandalous price in exchange for Eden’s safe passage across the sea. As his wicked kiss ignites an unforgettable blaze of passion between them, Jack and Eden confront a soul-searing love that cannot be denied.

  • Among the Living

Among the Living by Jordan Castillo Price

Among the Living by Jordan Castillo Price is 99c! This is the first book in the PsyCop series, though is on the shorter side than a full-length. This is a scifi gay romance that has been recommended on two podcasts: one with Joyfully Jay and one with Santino Hassell.

Victor Bayne, the psychic half a PsyCop team, is a gay medium who’s more concerned with flying under the radar than in making waves.

He hooks up with handsome Jacob Marks, a non-psychic (or “Stiff”) from an adjacent precinct at his ex-partner’s retirement party and it seems like his dubious luck has taken a turn for the better. But then a serial killer surfaces who can change his appearance to match any witness’ idea of the world’s hottest guy. Solving murders is a snap when you can ask the victims whodunit, but this killer’s not leaving any spirits behind.

  • Exploited

    Exploited by A. Meredith Walters

Exploited by A. Meredith Walters is 99c! This is a contemporary romance with a hacker heroine. Readers say they really loved the concept, though the execution could have been a bit better. This is also the first in a series, but in Goodreads reviews, I saw mentions of a cliffhanger. Have you read this one?

In this pulse-pounding novel from the bestselling author of Butterfly Dreams, a vigilante hacker plays a seductive game with the agent who’s chasing her online—and sharing her bed in real life.

At first glance, I’m nothing out of the ordinary. I am a daughter. A sister. A friend. When you look at me you won’t see anything that warrants suspicion. I don’t look like a criminal.

My name is Hannah Whalen, but most people know me as freed0mov3rdr1v3, or “Freedom Overdrive”—one of the world’s most prolific and notorious hacktivists. My goal—my purpose—is to shed light on the evil that lurks behind the corporate and government lies we have been force-fed for too long.

My story begins with the best possible intention. Devoting my life to exposing the corrupt. The dishonest. The unethical. For that, they label me a cyber-terrorist. Wanted by the FBI, I’ve always been one step ahead.

    Until I fell in love.

Because I’m sleeping with the man who’s hunting me. And he has no idea that I am his prey. Now I have to decide what’s more important: my freedom or my heart.

Lauren Layne’s An Ex For Christmas is on sale for $1.99. I read this recently and really liked it.

  2. cleo says:

I remember enjoying Men Under the Mistletoe. The Ava March is a kinky historical (mild bdsm), the Harper Fox is a contemporary with fantasy elements and the other two are contemporary. The Ava March was my favorite. IIRC all of them are more about sex and love than the true Christmas Spirit (which o count as a plus).

I love love love the PsyCop series. Thinking it may be time for a reread…

  4. Cristie says:

I’d like to second the recommendation for the Psycop series. I just started book 5 and so far I’ve loved each book more than the last. I noticed the price of all books in the series has dropped so now is a good time to grab the whole thing. I bought most of the books a few weeks ago & was only missing book 8 & the short story anthology which I one clicked last night when I noticed the price drop. They’re worth buying at any price though.

  5. Antipodean Shenanigans says:

I enjoyed His Wicked Kiss. It’s in my top 5 nautical historical romances. I thought the middle part on the ship was great – very much like that old classic Gentle Rogue. If anything, the ending third lets it down when it reverts back to standard London Regency ballroom setting.

  6. Heather S says:

Yes, yes, give me all the books of man love. Between these and Cat Sebastian’s newest, I am ready to settle in for good reading. 🙂

Sunshine by Robin McKinley is $1.99 at Barnes & Noble – I know it was on my TBR list from seeing it mentioned here so others mighr be interested 🙂
