Bringing Home the Bad Boy
RECOMMENDED: Bringing Home the Bad Boy by Jessica Lemmon is $1.99! I bought this when it was n sale last spring and enjoyed it! This is a contemporary romance and the first in a series. The hero is a tattoo artist, single father, and a widower, and I just know that has to be someone’s catnip. The heroine also appears to be the best friend of the hero’s late wife, which I know isn’t everyone’s favorite trope. You have been forewarned. It also has a 4-star rating on GoodReads.
The Bad Boy Is Back
Evan Downey needs a new beginning. Since the death of his wife five years ago, the brilliant tattoo artist has shut himself away in a prison of grief that not even his work can break him out of-and what’s worse, Evan knows his son Lyon is bearing the brunt of his seclusion. Moving back to the lake town of Evergreen Cove where he spent his childhood summers is his last chance for a fresh start.
Charlotte Harris knows she owes it to her best friend’s memory to help Evan and his son find their way again, but she can’t stop her traitorous heart from skipping a beat every time she looks into Evan’s mesmerizing eyes. Charlotte is determined to stay strictly in the Friend Zone-until a mind-blowing night knocks that plan by the wayside. Now, if they’re brave enough to let it, Charlotte and Evan might just find a love capable of healing their broken hearts . . .

Part Time Cowboy
Part Time Cowboy by Maisey Yates is $1.99! This is a small town romance with a trouble making heroine who returns to her hometown. For some readers, parts of the conflict felt unnecessary, but I also know that Yates comes highly recommended if you’re in the mood for fun and steamy romances.
A onetime bad girl comes home to small-town Oregon in the first in a sexy, heartfelt new series from USA TODAY bestselling author Maisey Yates
Sadie Miller isn’t expecting any welcome-home parades on her return to Copper Ridge. Least of all from part-time rancher, full-time lawman Eli Garrett. The straitlaced, impossibly hot deputy sheriff glares at her as if she’s the same teenage hoodlum who fled town ten years ago. But running from her demons has brought Sadie full circle, ready to make a commitment at last. Not to a man, but to a bed-and-breakfast. On Garrett land. Okay, so her plan has a tiny flaw…
Eli works too hard to let a blonde ball of trouble mess up his town. But keeping an eye on Sadie makes it tough to keep his hands off her. And if she’s so wrong for him, why does being with her feel so right?

A Brother’s Honor
A Brother’s Honor by Brenda Jackson is $1.99! This is the first book in Jackson’s Grangers contemporary romance series. This one has a hint of a workplace romance as the hero hires the heroine (a business consultant) to help with a failing business. Readers love the hero and his relationship with his brothers. However, some felt that the multiple storylines going on were a bit distracting. It has a 4.3-star rating on Goodreads.
The Granger brothers left behind their family’s Virginia estate-and the bad memories it holds-years ago. But their dying grandfather’s request brings them home:to a failing business, a legacy of secrets and a deathbed promise to make things right.
As the eldest brother, attorney Jace Granger is determined to take responsibility for Granger Aeronautics, his family’s failing business. But the years of mismanagement seem impossible to untangle. As CEO, he hires a consultant to turn the company around. Smart, sexy Shana Bradford is the right person for the job-and the right woman to turn Jace’s world upside down.
But the passion between them is jeopardized when old secrets begin to emerge. A woman from Jace’s past suddenly reappears. And an explosive discovery changes everything Jace thinks he knows about his mother-and his father, who was convicted of her murder.
Jace Granger tried to leave his family history behind once before. But this time he needs to face the past…or risk losing his future.
Three brothers. One legacy. A lifetime of secrets.

Ruin & Rule
Ruin & Rule by Pepper Winters is 99c! This is a darker contemporary romance with a billionaire biker hero. I’m honestly so on the fence about buying this one because I’m all about dark romances lately. Maybe someone from the Bitchery can help convince/dissuade me? I should also note that many Goodreads reviews mention that it ends with a cliffhanger, so be ye warned.
“We met in a nightmare. The in-between world where time had no power over reason. We fell in love. We fell hard. But then we woke up. And it was over . . .”
RUIN & RULE
She is a woman divided. Her past, present, and future are as twisted as the lies she’s lived for the past eight years. Desperate to get the truth, she must turn to the one man who may also be her greatest enemy . . .
He is the president of Pure Corruption MC. A heartless biker and retribution-deliverer. He accepts no rules, obeys no one, and lives only to reap revenge on those who wronged him. And now he has stolen her, body and soul.
Can a woman plagued by mystery fall in love with the man who refuses to face the truth? And can a man drenched in darkness forgo his quest for vengeance-and finally find redemption?

“Billionaire Biker Hero”
*DIES* That’s Kati Catnip. One Clicking that one.
The tattooed widower made me perk up, since I wrote a story starring one of those. 🙂 One-clicked that puppy!
I second (I widen?) that wide recommendation for Maisey Yates! I just finished Bad News Cowboy, the third in this series, plus the prequel novella, and it made me want to read more of her stuff, so the timing for this sale is great!
