Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson is $2.99! This is a young adult fantasy with romantic elements and I’ve heard such good things. I believe I remember Aarya squeeing about this in Slack, but I could be wrong.
A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik is $3.99! It’s also a Kindle Daily Deal. If you’re unsure about whether to pick up this book, I highly recommend reading Aarya’s review as well as this Goodreads review to make that decision for yourself. The comments on that GR review are also super insightful, as it contains comments from readers of color about various cultural identities present in the book.
The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams is $2.99! This is a contemporary romance and the first in a series. Aarya gave this one a C+ and would recommend it with reservations:
The writing is polished, the grovel is so satisfying (I love desperate heroes at their wits’ end), and Thea has my permission to rule the world for eternity. Adams’s voice is magnetic; my eyes were glued on the page because the dialogue flowed seamlessly. Admittedly, I’m not caught up in the series and have only read the first three or four books, so maybe someone can add some thoughts on how the series unfolds, whether good or bad. Many people love the heroine because she’s a bit of a badass. However, some people feel like the first book is a little slow.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency Box Set by Douglas Adams is $1.99! This set collects books one and two of the Dirk Gently series. We recently ran a guest review of the BBC series and many of you mentioned in the comments how much you love the books.
RECOMMENDED: The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett is 99c! This is the first book in the much loved Discworld series. There’s magic and lots of quirky humor, though admittedly, the series isn’t for everyone. So don’t worry if you give it a shot and it’s not for you. It has a 3.9-star rating on Goodreads.
