2026 Holiday Gift Guide With a Heated Rivalry Giveaway!

We’re back with our weekly Gift Guides!

First, some housekeeping. Some of our links are affiliate coded, which sends a portion of your purchase price back to us at no extra cost to you. It’s one of a few ways we keep the hot pink mayhem going at SBTB HQ, so thank you in advance for your support!

A sketched heart with red marker scribble mostly filling it inSecond, if you’re curious about the Rakuten shopping portal, which gives you cash back for many purchases at different retailers, they’ve got an offer for new folks:  Rakuten is offering $50 back if you join and make a purchase +$50 within 90 days.

Bookshop.org is included in Rakuten’s shopping portal, for example, and offers 3% cash back on purchases. So if you’re thinking of trying it, you can get $50 cash back after your first purchase!

OK, are you ready for our first Weekly Gift Guide? For this first one, we have a giveaway! Isn’t that cool?

Are you familiar with Heated Rivalry?

It was a niche show, and not a lot of people watched it, but I bet you’ll LOVE the DVD set. If you haven’t seen it, now’s your chance to watch it 5,732,855 times!

Let’s get right to the fun part: I have five copies of the brand new DVD release of Heated Rivalry, with bonus scenes and bloopers.

And I have one Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Collector’s Edition:

The limited-edition 4K Ultra HD Collector’s Edition featuring a retro VHS-inspired collector’s box, double-sided poster, collectible art cards, and a hockey puck stress reliever.

It comes with a retro VHS-inspired collector’s box, double-sided poster, collectible art cards, and a hockey puck stress reliever. (I seriously love that the box looks like a VHS. My inner nostalgia nerd is so happy.)

But what other Heated Rivalry ideas are there for your favorite HR fan?

Oh, gosh, hardly ANY. Let’s take a look at the very paltry offerings for the HR devotee in your life!

Of course, there are candles.

A white lit candle in a glass jar with a pink label that reads Smells like she's watching Heated Rivalry againSmells like She’s Watching Heated Rivalry candle, $19

A burning white candle with a light green label that reads The Cottage: Sunset skies, distant loons, and the warmth of cottage nights The Cottage candle, $18

Socks? OF COURSE.

A black and white athletic sock that reads Room No 1410 and Room no 1221. There are crossed sticks and a small object between them and I'm wondering if those are lacrosse sticks and a ball? Room Number socks, $15

Ok, I have been looking very closely at these socks and all the other images, trying to detect any AI generation (the above image is definitely not). And…are those lacrosse sticks? And a ball?

Or are those hockey sticks and a puck?

Speaking of room numbers:

Two enamel keychains shaped like old fashioned hotel keys with a rounded diamond shaped tag. One says room no 1221 and the other says room 1410 Room Number keychains, $14

Doors?

Two keychains that look like miniature doors, one in wood and one in white. The wood one is dark brown and says Room no 1221 on one side, with a 81 jersey and the words I might knock. The white one has room 1410 and on the back a 24 jersey with the words I might openRoom number keychains, $13

Those are really cute.

Apparel celebrating Heated Rivalry might be hard to find. I’ve seen absolutely no one wearing a hockey jersey from one of the teams in the series. (LOL I counted at least 6 at the showing of The Heated Rivalry Unauthorized Parody Musical I attended.)

A green embroidered sweatshirt with a picture of a loon and the caption stupid canadian wolf birdStupid Canadian Wolf Bird embroidered sweatshirt, $37-48

This embroidered design is also available on tshirts and hoodies. Which I always spell as “hoddies.”

A white woman wearing a green hooded sweatshirt that says Ginger Ale social club, montreal Canada Ginger Ale Social Club sweatshirt, $35-38

I too am a member of the Ginger Ale Social Club! I love ginger ale.

I had no idea that fun printed dish towels were a thing until my sister got me a set and I adore them. These are 100% cotton and are ridiculously cute:

A cotton tea towel with a watercolor illustration of a tuna melt and a ginger ale that reads Do you like tuna melts? Do You Like Tuna Melts? dishtowel, $17

Some stores like Book Lovers Collective have a buffet of Heated Rivalry options from stickers to bookmarks to fanart prints:

A collage sticker showing Hollander and Rozanov jerseys, plus ginger ale, hockey pucks, a phone with a text conversation that reads Coming to the Cottage, and a text bubble at the bottom that says Stupid Canadian wolf bird. Hollanov Icons Sticker $4

And, of course, there’s the official Heated Rivalry merch collection.

Two jerseys with real tie necks for the Boston Raiders and the Montreal Metro. One is black with a gold R and a cannon in the center and the other is blue with a stylized M and a fleur de lis in the middleTeam Jerseys, $150

I’ll never get over the logos. Especially the Metros. Not ever.

We’ll be doing weekly gift guides until Christmas, so if you’ve got ideas for our gift guides, there’s a whole post for you to share your suggestions so I can highlight them in future collections!

And remember! To enter the giveaway for a DVD copy (or the limited edition set!) of Heated Rivalry, please comment and tell us either:

  1. dine says:

I have watched Heated Rivalry more times than I can remember – at least seven, plus the occasional ‘just one ep’ when time’s short.

and I’ve been inhaling fanfiction for months – millions of words about the characters in all sorts of situations
