How do I use Spoiler tags?

Thank you to Pam G. for suggesting this one!

To hide a portion of a comment behind a spoiler tag, type the following but without the asterisks. And use only lower case!

Here is an example.

I cannot believe that...

[*spoiler*]

Kristin shot J.R. Ewing!

[*/spoiler*]

If you remove the asterisks, you’ll get:

I cannot believe that…

Show Spoiler

Kristin shot J.R. Ewing!

Advanced Level:

Now, if you want to include a warning as to what the spoiler content is, type the following:

Holy cow, can you believe that [*spoiler spoilerwarning="OMG major spoilers"*]

that entire season of Dallas was just a dream and NONE of it happened?

[*/spoiler*]

And the result will be:

Holy cow, can you believe that

OMG major spoilers

that entire season of Dallas was just a dream and NONE of it happened?

You can copy & paste either of the examples above and use them in a comment – just remove the asterisks. And just for kicks, here’s the basic version again:

[*spoiler*]

Text you wanna hide goes here, please.

[*/spoiler*]
