It’s a mafia romance. The main characters are called “Barbie and Ken” by the heroine’s friends. I think there are 3 or 4 books in series. In this one, the hero was a mafia boss and a doctor, while the heroine was an interior designer.
I read this series a few years back and can’t remember name/author. There is a book for the heroine and each of her friends. All related in the same universe, but could be standalones. The heroine meets the hero because she’s an interior designer. She thinks he’s just a doctor and has hired her to fix up his place. Turns out he’s also mafia boss. Her three friends also end up getting with his cousin/second in command/enforcers and have books of their own.
Does anyone know this book?
