Help A Bitch Out - SOLVED!

HaBO: Hero is Afraid of Small, Dark Places

You did it! We figured this one out! It is a truth universally acknowledged (by me for certain) that the Bitchery pretty much knows everything, and really, it's true. Scroll down to see the solution for this HaBO - and many thanks!

This HaBO comes from Yvonne, who is looking for a historical romance:

I’m looking for a historical romance.

Hero served in India, was imprisoned & tortured. He has PTSD. He returns to England with 4 people from India. A man, his wife, another woman, and a little girl. I think the heroine is living in his house when he returns. Maybe a childhood friend or distant relation.

I think at one point in the book he gets lost in the cellars under the house. He has trouble with small dark spaces.

Sound familiar to anyone?

@Gail: The buy links aren’t automatic. For each Solved HaBO, I have to add all the links and info for each one. Going forward, new Solved HaBOs will most likely be updated the same day, but probably not immediately!

Plus a recommendation: if you want more heroes who are afraid of small, dark spaces and look for a contemporary erotica get a copy of “Hearts in darkness” asap!!! It is sooooo goood!
