Time for our annual eight straight days of giveaways to celebrate Hanukkah! We have so much fun planning these, and we’ve been working on each gift pack for months.
As we did last year, each night celebrates reading, along with some themed prize packs that celebrates the different interests of the Smart Bitches crew. I hope you like them!

It used to be Nanaimo bars until I discovered a local bakery that makes raspberry, lychee and pistachio Danishes. Terrifyingly addictive o_0
I love sweets, of course, but, I prefer savouries with my reading and will quite happily graze through an entire of plate of nibbles. This time of year is so dangerous because there is usually an abundance of goodies lying around. I’ve got pea and roasted garlic puree to spread on crackers, some of the most ridiculously high-fat brie you ever saw and a huge tray of rumaki (twee, I know) ready for munching. I always make twice as much as necessary, so I have lots of leftovers for the next week.

There’s nothing thing better than slowly nibbling at a chocolate croissant and sipping a cup of warm milk while reading a warm and gooey romance.
At this time of year when I can find the time to read amidst the holiday chaos, I like to eat homemade molasses spice cookies while sipping from a big hot cup of Twining’s lemon ginger tea. (That mug just might happen to be a gigantic Bad Decisions Book Club one BTW, LOL!) Also wanted to say thank you to the SBTB community for making me laugh, making me think, keeping me sane, and enabling my lack of control when it comes to book buying (curses to you, Amazon one-click!). Kladdkaka – a Swedish sticky chocolate cake. I like mine with cream or raspberries.
Biscotti! Favorite flavor: salted caramel.
I love anything sweet but lately I’ve been loving cinnamon rolls with lots of icing!

Wow, this question would pop up during my annual bakingpalooza. My favorite is sand tarts, but not while reading (powdered sugar!), so I’ll just go with my personally perfected toll house cookies.
Cookies! I am currently making Shortbread, gingerbread, & sugar cookies for Christmas. I love to bake but am trying to lose weight, so this has been a challenge, but I am having fun for at least this week.
Cranberry cheddar cheese is one of my guilty pleasures I can only get at this time of year. If I’m in a sweet mood, marzipan swollen. Yum.

Cookies! I have taken over holiday baking for my aunt (she is ill), and I have 6 containers of cookies on my counter. They are all delicious.
This time of year Sugar Cookies homemade of course and Blueberry Acai tea.
Cookies! I’m not super particular, but peanut butter are my fave. Will also go for chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and sugar in that order.

For a really good book a cup of hot tea that slowly becomes a cup of ice tea.
Popcorn, preferably a salty and sweet mix. I eat popcorn with chopsticks to avoid getting grease on my hands (and on my Kindle!)
I love to eat cheese and crackers, and drink tea when I read.
