I just discovered Carriger has started self-publishing stand-one romances featuring side characters from her various series and I am so happy. I read her first one two weeks ago, featuring an adult Preshea, first seen in her The Finishing School series, and it was great! There was a house party!
Curse on the Land by Faith Hunter also came out today. So far, the reviews are positive.
No kidding hide your wallet! Just saw my city’s skyline on the cover of Blank Spaces and all I thought was BOUGHT. Love it when I can pinpoint places that I know in a book!

Wow, what a month for autobuys! My credit card will be smokin’, but it will be worth it–Balogh, Duran, Hoyt and more. I have the Stephanie Myer book on reserve at the library, along with the Bonesteel one. Now I need to make more time for reading because I’m going to need it.
In my ongoing search for the perfect rock star romance, I recently discovered Kristen Callihan’s new series,VIP. Devoured the first book and am so excited that book 2, Managed is out this month.

D.D. Ayres Explosive Forces hit my Kindle today and is calling my name while I am working. I am also looking forward to Mary Balogh’s new series. Sweetest Regret has been pre-ordered for holiday reading.

Aside from Blank Spaces, I’m deffo looking forward to reading Timekeeper by Tara Sim (Book 1 in an M/M YA series with heavy time-travel themes).
Also, Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulhurst. This is an F/F YA fantasy about a princess falling in love with her bethroded’s sister.
Fire In You by Jennifer Armentrout/J Lynn (I think she’s pretty much given up on trying to keep those names separate) comes out on the 28. Really looking forward to this one.
I both love and loathe when this particular feature pops up in my reader, because it means I’m about to spend a lot of money on preorders. Blank Spaces is totally my catnip, but is sadly not up for preorder on amazon yet.
Look at that!! Back from Dad’s therapy and there’s a box in the door step. Oh Amazon how I love you. Now that I’ll be travelling with Nalini Singh, that four hour flight tomorrow is going fly by.
