I am so excited for Donna Thorland’s The Dutch Girl (March 1) – she writes such witty, fabulous and SMART Revolutionary America-set historical romances, and my pre-order of this one just downloaded onto my Kindle, hurrah!
(Also so excited about Because of Miss Bridgerton! And Rebel of the Sands is really wonderful.)
Janice Kay Johnson’s “The Closer He Gets” just downloaded onto my iPad and I am looking forward to reading it tomorrow.
I don’t think I have ever read a Julia Quinn and “”Because of Miss Bridgerton ” sounds like fun so, since it appears to be number 1 in a series and the commentary suggests she includes humour , I think I will try it. Also the Caroline Linden sounds interesting and the one book of Jackie Ashenden I have read was outstanding ……. so it really will be a month to hide my wallet if I want to stay within budget.
I’m looking forward to Thorland’s The Dutch Girl and America’s First Daughter by Dray and Kamoie, too. Both look spectacular and I love the writing styles.
There’s also the next C. S. Harris.
Looking forward to Shalvis’s new book and Feehan’s next Carpathian series. Finally Gary’s story!

K. J. Charles has a new “Charm of Magpies” spinoff novel coming out. You can read the prequel novella already. Although I feel she isn’t devoting as much care to this series as she is to her “Society of Gentlemen” series (publishing 3-4 novels a year, something’s got to give!) I’m still looking forward to it.

I pre-ordered both Because of Miss Bridgerton and Fortune Favors the Wicked. I may have to take a day off when the books arrive. Two favorite authors on the same day. Squee! To Lure a Proper Lady is also on the Wish List as I enjoyed the Eton Boys series last year. Hmmm, maybe two days off.
I went to look at Tyranny of Petticoats and am frustrated by the lack of an author list. There’s no look inside either, which might have yielded that information.
I did one-click the Earl Next Door because for $1.99 I will take a chance on a new author and that one did let me look inside and she seems decent and American heiress + renovations + POV of nosy Parker old lady neighbor = I’m in.

Yep, in addition to the new CS Harris, Patricia Briggs, and Anne Bishop books, a new book in the Amanda Stevens’s Graveyard Queen series is finally coming out at the end of the month. Yay. I can also recommend the audio for the Bishop and Stevens series so far (haven’t listened to the other two).
Second the excitement for “Jane Steele”– I’ve seen so many good reviews the premise is 100% my catnip
I am tempted to check out “Kidnapped by the billionaire” just because I really, really want to know what happened in a billionaire’s life to make him decide to pick up some work as a bodyguard.

Interesting – the heroine of the Annie Kelly book is named Carson – in my family that was a man’s name, including my father’s.
Wow thank you SBs for alerting me to a new Patricia Briggs that I somehow left off my list of eagerly anticipated 2016 books. Only fly in the ointment is that it is $16.99 Australian for an ebook. The greed of the publishers continues to annoy this reader.
