On the third night of Hanukkah, Smart Bitches gave to me: a noooooooooooooook-(ee). (Note: not actual nooky.)
I'm giving away a nook Simple Touch with Glow Light to one person chosen at random from the comments in this thread.
Just leave a comment saying what you would nickname your digital reader if you won.
Standard disclaimers apply: I'm not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years of age and eating dessert. Open to international residents.
You've got 24 hours to leave a comment. There will be more fun and mayhem each night of Hanukkah. Eight straight days of crazy dreams come true, y'all! Pass the latkes.
Snookums.
Touch Book.
I think I would name it Junior :O)
Sassafras.
My Lovely Precious. 🙂
Well, probably Nooky now that you’ve suggested it.
Precious.
That would be called my ‘Nookie’.
Glowing dirty little girl!
Sweetpea
I would name it Smart Bitch:)
I would call it my Nookie Wook Book 🙂
Happy . . .because now I wouldn’t leave the light on all night and others in the room would be . . .well you know 🙂
Sorry. In my excitement, I missed the first part. As an alternate, I’ll call it ‘Baba Ga-nook’.
Noorani. It’s Persian for “luminous”.
Well, you’ve obviously named it for us already—Nookie. 🙂
lovey dovey
There’s only one possible name for it: “Fabiooooooooooo”
Where, as in, where the hell did I leave it THIS time!
Well, e-readers are sexy so it would need a sexy name.
…actually, I might just call it “McSexy Pants” or something.
Nooky
“touched by the nook”
DontTouchThat – just in case my kids forget the rules about mommy and her books.
My current nook’s name is Larry, so a new nook would have to be Darryl.
🙂
Hmmm, I’d call it Marius. All my inanimate objects have human names.
Since it’s a nook I would name it Olive Nook, a play on the character Olive Snook from the too short lived tv show Pushing Daisies.
So not romantic, but I’d name my nook the TARDIS, since really, it’s bigger on the inside. 🙂
I recently saw on a book review website that a reviewer called her ereader ‘Portal’. I just think that is so perfect since reading is a definite escape for me!
Charlie
the book of life <3
My go to name for any inanimate object—and sometimes a frog—is Herbert. Herbert the Nook. 🙂
Since it lights up, and it’s almost Saint Lucy’s Day, I’ll go with Lucy.
Beau
Digi
Man Titty. Coming from SBTB, it would have to be.
Hmmm…since the Hobbit is almost here, maybe “My precioussssss”
I would love it, and hug it, and pet it, and I would name it George.
I would call it Professor.
Precioussss 🙂
