RECOMMENDED: The Brightest Day Anthology is 99c! This is a historical romance anthology with several recommended authors. Sarah read it and gave it a B-:
Anthologies are difficult to grade sometimes. Some of the stories I found myself skimming, while with Cole’s story, I was gripping my ereader so tightly my hands started to ache. I’m giving this anthology a B- overall, averaging together the grades above.

First Touch by Laurelin Paige is $1.99 at Amazon and Kobo! It’s also $2.99 at All Romance. I mentioned in on December’s Hide Your Wallet post. This is definitely on the darker side and does have a cliffhanger. Some readers had trouble connecting with the heroine, but many say this is a book that will grab you and not let go. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads.

RECOMMENDED: Painting the Moon by Traci Borum is 99c! Sarah reviewed this as part of our first ever Lightning Reviews post and gave it a B-:
This book had a good balance of revealing the mystery, introducing the town and the way of life in the Cotswolds, and allowing Noelle to figure things out at a pace that was interesting for the reader and didn’t make Noelle look like an idiot. If anything, she was very smart and emotionally savvy, and navigating grief and family secrets is exhausting for anyone.
