Got books, boxed sets, discounts, fabulous fashion ideas, cross stitch patterns (over here! Yes, right here!), recipe blogs, or brilliant ideas that you want to promote?
Excellent. Because we have advertisement options for you!
The site survives in part because of advertisements from and for this community, so thank you in advance for your support!
Why advertise with us?
Our traffic is substantially higher in the quarantimes. (Hi everybody!) We’ve experienced a significant and sustained increase in visits and pageviews, which is not surprising, since folks are looking for more comfort reads lately. (Welcome, y’all!)
And, our advertising is pretty darn effective. Author Maree Andrews emailed me after placing an ad:
I have just had a reader email me to say that she found my book through your site and that she liked it.
Thanks so very, very much for giving me this opportunity to advertise for such a remarkably reasonable price on your excellent blog.
Thank you, Maree!
What’s available?
- Premium and standard spaces for weeklong bookings
- Some newsletter placements as well!
- For-every-budget spots that start at $50.
Email me with your budget target and I can craft you a proposal.
What are the most popular options?
One of the most popular options is the $50 space. If you’re looking for advertisement options and promotional opportunities on a budget, the $50 For Every Budget Space might be an ideal fit for you.
The For Every Budget Ads display on long pages, such as:
- The main page of the site, which is the most popular page, btw
- Longer length posts
- Longer length reviews
- Individual podcast entries
- And archive pages such as our Reviews By Grade page (also a very popular page!)
How do I reserve an ad?
You can email me to enquire at sarahATsmartbitchestrashybooksDOTTcom, or you can use this handy form to submit your For Every Budget ad and payment.
Again, if you’ve got something you would like to promote, email me. I’m happy to work with your budget, and, as I said, you deal with me personally when you do business with the site.
And if you’re looking for information about advertisement in 2020, my books are now open!
As always, thanks for being here and for being part of Smart Bitches.
Cheers!
Out of curiosity, I checked out Maree Andrews’ book mentioned above (the title is Dragon Dowager fyi) and OMG, catnip AHOY! It’s set in the mid-Victorian period with a hero and heroine in their 40’s who meet because the heroine’s bi (?), Ace (?) son has fallen in love with the hero’s trans younger relative. Checked out the sample, then immediately one-clicked. My groaning TBR mountain would be a lot smaller without SBTB.
@JenM: I just did the same thing. I’m excited to read this one!
I’ve written this before and I’ll probably do so again: I welcome and enjoy the book advertisements which appear on my desktop computer in a column along the right of the page. They capture my attention in a way that Amazon, with it’s “recommendations”, “top picks” and endless “sponsored products” never manage.
