Welcome to Wednesday Links!
I had to double (and triple) check that it was Wednesday, as Monday holidays always mess with my sense of time.
SBTB hopes you all had a great Valentine’s Day, whether your date was with a partner or just yourself. Though I am in a relationship, I took myself to an afternoon showing of Birds of Prey. Seeing it a second time was still a joyful experience.

You may have heard of Little Free Libraries, but what about a Little Free Fiber Library? If you’re in the Philly area, you can check it out!

Sarah: Rothy’s have released a new shoe, the Mary Jane. It’s so adorable I wanted to make sure you knew about it. I shared an image with Amanda last night, who promptly replied, “Well, those are cute.” Brace yourself!
They also come in black and leopard (I think that’s leopard? Maybe cheetah? I am not good at identifying animal prints):
I’ve mentioned Rothy’s before as they are my favorite travel shoe as they pack easily, weigh nothing, instantly make any outfit a little more dressed up, and are washable. I love the washing part. I just washed some of mine last week, and they look perfect.
Aside from running shoes, I haven’t bought any other shoes since finding Rothy’s, and they’ve are a staple for my professional wardrobe – and personal, too. I wore a pair all weekend at a family event, and my feet didn’t hurt at all. A rare thing! I really like the new style, and am debating ordering a pair. I also really like the new spring colors. Oh, temptation, hello again.
If you’d like to order yourself some, here is a link for $20 off your order. (NB: affiliate link that credits me $20 as well, so cheers!)

If you’re the character in a Victorian Gothic novel, here are some great daily affirmations:
“In my defense, the brandy was plentiful, and the pantaloons were loose.”
“I think my husband finally desires me more than the ghost of his first wife who visits every night.”
“Fingers crossed I can leave this place through a dissociative fugue state.”

I need all of you to watch the funniest thing so far in 2020. It’s going to be hard to beat this one:

Don’t forget to share what super cool things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!
Omg I was looking at the shoe options wistfully, preemptively heartbroken that they probably wouldn’t have my size (11.5 wide!). BUT THEY DO! I’m so excited to get a pair.
Claudia, I’ve heard from two friends with wider feet that the woven stretch works very well for them. I hope they work for you as well! I’d recommend sizing up a half size, however, as they can run small. Returns are very easy, though, if they don’t work. Please let me know what you think? I hope you like them!
Everyday’s cheap candy when you buy stuff at a dollar store.
Bought discounted candy to show myself self love yesterday. Ate it today and it was nice.
I wish I could wear Rothy’s. I have a wide foot, not a fat foot, and they’re still not wide enough when going up a size–they’re too loose in the heel when going up for those with narrow heels–and still not wide enough. Fortunately, they have a wonderful return policy.
@SBSarah – I get this when I go to the Rothy’s link:
WE’RE SORRY
The limit of given rewards is exceeded.
This happened last time you posted a coupon/link. Evidently, I’m not quick enough so I keep missing out!
Is there a finite number of coupons/discounts allowed? Will the link work in a few days, week, etc.?
Thanks for your help!
YIKES! Hang on – I can get you another $20 off link. My apologies! Here you go:
A new $20 off link – thanks for the heads up!
I love my Rothys. I bought a pair of boots this year but otherwise, the last two years have been all Rothys all the time. Be warned once you get on the comfy washable flats train you may never get off. I don’t do the points otherwise I’d be all over the new ballet style. That new mint color though…they know how to keep a community hooked.
FINE SARAH. FINE.
(I’ve gone and *almost* bought a pair of these so many times, and figured, welp, now’s the time. I’m pregnant and basically in permanent leggings mode, which means my normal shoe choices don’t always look good. So thanks! Got the regular flats in Charcoal. yay!)
