Links: Romance News, Parade Balloons, & More

Workspace with computer, journal, books, coffee, and glasses. It’s the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you’re celebrating, we hope you eat all sorts of yummy things. If you aren’t celebrating, enjoy the rest of your week and eat something delicious anyway. We’re so thankful for you, readers, and thanks for making SBTB an awesome place!

Have you seen the cover reveal of Beverly Jenkins’ Rebel yet? The book sounds amazing (as usual), but what do you think of the cover?

Sil of The Book Voyagers is over at Frolic, recommending some romances with CEO heroines. Yes, please!

Ever wonder what literary classics would look like if they were reimagined as Reddit relationship advice?

My (20F) fiance (46M) has been keeping his secret first wife in the attic, but I really love him

My only complaint is that I wish there were more to read through!

Entangled is debuting August, a romance imprint which will focus on heroes and heroines in their 30s and 40s! You can check out some of their upcoming titles over at the Happily Ever After blog.

Lastly, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a tradition for many families (mine included). Reductress has ranked this year’s most fuckable parade balloons, which is the content I never knew I needed.

Don’t forget to share what super cool things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!

Just when I think nothing on the Internet can surprise/scandalize me anymore…Jesus wept.

The new Beverly Jenkins cover is lovely, though.

The New York Times chose Alyssa Cole’s A PRINCESS IN THEORY as one of the 100 Notable Books of 2018. So cool to see a romance novel getting overdue respect from outside Romancelandia:

A romance line with 30/40-something protagonists? Yes, please!

  4. Linda says:

The Beverly Jenkins cover is lovely! But the article says the series title has “only 5 syllables.” Women Who Dare is four syllables 🙂

I was just thinking about how much I’d like some romances about people my age. Our lives aren’t over! We can still have romance! I’m very much looking forward to this line.

Love the news about people older than 29 in romance! But those fuckable balloons just made my evening!!!
