We also mentioned

“The trial put the inner workings of the company on public display in sometimes unflattering ways. In his testimony, Dohle argued that success in publishing is driven by instinct and random luck, not necessarily a company’s size — an argument that the judge found unconvincing. And he revealed his dissatisfaction with the company’s performance since the 2013 merger.”

I’ve also been around romance for a few years and I’ve noticed the way definitions/categories of romance change, too. I read that Cate C. Wells book (nobody mentioned the “hero”‘s obssession with reproduction, btw) and I was grumping about it in a book group because pregnancy/babies/kids are a nope trope for me, and some of the other readers were like “Oh, yeah, because it’s Omegaverse” and I was all sorts of confused.

Me: “No, it’s paranormal romance. It looks like paranormal romance, it reads like paranormal romance, I’ve been reading paranormal romance off and on for 20+ years!”

    Them: “No, it’s Omegaverse.”

I had no idea what that is because I don’t really do any online fiction reading at this point. Now I know to look out for it and avoid going forward. Y’all can’t go changing things on me! *shakes reading glasses at the screen*
