Three Parts Dead by Max Gladstone is $3.99! This is a recommended urban fantasy and many of my friends loved it. Reviewers on Goodreads really enjoyed the badass heroine, but some felt it had “first book syndrome” with too much stuff going on to set up the plot. Have you read this one?
Rough Rider by Victoria Vane is $1.99! This is jam-packed full of catnip goodness. A cowboy hero who served in the military. A one-night stand. A second chance romance. Readers loved how realistic everything felt – the setting, the romance, and the characterization. However, some readers mention that there are a few flashbacks to when the hero and heroine first met and that it bogged down the action. Have you read this one?

The Magicians by Lev Grossman is $2.99! I haven’t read this book yet, but it comes highly recommended from several friends. It also is the most recommended book I’ve seen for people looking for what to read next after finishing the Harry Potter series. Though the protagonist is a senior high school, the book does contain themes of sex and drugs. Something to keep in mind for younger readers.
