A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole is $1.99! This is the first book in her Reluctant Royals series and this seems to be a series that just keeps getting better with its books. Many readers loved how Alyssa writes consent, agency, and all sorts of other awesome and empowering things. However, some warn that this book takes several chapters to get into the swing of things.
RECOMMENDED: Huntress by Malinda Lo is $1.99! Carrie reviewed this one and gave it a B+, but wouldn’t recommend it for romance readers necessarily:

The Truth About Love and Dukes by Laura Lee Guhrke is $1.99! This is the first book in the Dear Lady Truelove series and the heroine runs an advice column. Readers seem divided on the heroine. Some found her independent and confident, while others found her too brash for their liking. Have you read this one?
RECOMMENDED: Duke of Sin by Elizabeth Hoyt is $2.99! Those looking to continue their Maiden Lane series reading (this is the 10th book in the series and features a hero many have waiting for) should snag this sale! Elyse gave this book an A:

RECOMMENDED: The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson is $1.99! This is a scifi/fantasy novel in a historical setting. Carrie gave this an A- in a Lightning Review:
It’s a great paranormal/fantasy in a historical urban setting that focuses on a group of people too often ignored in history and in non-fiction. And Li-lin is a wonderful heroine: smart, determined, and struggling against all kinds of barriers including her own sense of self. I’m very much hoping that Li-lin and her floating eyeball friend will return in a sequel.
RECOMMENDED: Tiffany Girl by Deeanne Gist is $1.99! This is an American historical/Inspirational romance. Redheadedgirl read the book after hearing about it on a panel at RT this year, and she gave it a B+:
I loved this and chewed through it like someone was going to take it away from me, and I’m totally going to check out more of Gist’s work. She writes specifically American historicals, which are kind of sparse on the ground lately, and are a refreshing change of pace from the English historicals.
