A Girl Like Her by Talia Hibbert is 99c at Amazon! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and isn’t being price-matched just yet. This is the first book in the Ravenswood series. The book description has a content warning, as there are mentions of past domestic violence. Readers loved the grumpy, prickly heroine, which is totally my catnip. However, others mentioned having difficulties connecting with the characters.

This was a truly delicious, delectable, emotional story with resonance and heart and so much food, it might as well have its own stomach because yours shouldn’t be growling alone.

It’s Monday, which is the perfect day for Cover Snark! From Deborah: I feel as if the horse is giving me a “don’t judge us” look, but…I’m judging. Oh, boy, am I judging. Sarah: That horse looks like it would very much like some assistance, or at least an alternate breathing location that doesn’t include nipple. I also admire how the L in “Royal” hugs the curve of the gentleman’s backside. That’s a nice touch. … Continue reading Cover Snark: Horse Whisperer →

Beyond Control by Kit Rocha is 99c! This is the second book in the Beyond series and I’m loving the series’ new, beautiful covers! Be warned that this series is a bit darker and incredibly heavy on erotic content. Which I love, but others may not. You could probably get away with not reading the first one, though I highly recommend it and the first one is FREE!

Three Weeks to Wed by Ella Quinn is 99c and is a price-matched Kindle Daily Deal! Redheadedgirl reviewed this book and wound up giving it a C-:
This is one of those frustrating books where there’s a good idea but it gets bogged down in a total and utter lack of tension or conflict. As a result, it’s an eye-rolling read.
But if it’s still on your TBR list and you want to give it a shot, it’s hard to beat the price of less than a dollar. The rest of this series is also on sale as part of KDD!

The Red by Tiffany Reisz is an erotic journey though art history. It’s a book that pushes the envelope, and one that won’t be for all readers, but one that I found immensely enjoyable. In many ways it reads like an erotic fairytale, complete with an ending that felt a little too convenient. Mona Lisa St. James promised her mother that she would do anything in her power to save the family art gallery, The Red. … Continue reading The Red by Tiffany Reisz →
