I totally recommend reading The Duchess Deal, but preferably while sober so you can really appreciate all of it. It’s the perfect blend of two of my favorite fairytale tropes, it’s got a hero who never an alpha-hole, it’s funny, and it’s got female friendship. What more could you want?

One Dance with a Duke by Tessa Dare is $1.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and it’s being price-matched. This is the first book in Dare’s Stud Club trilogy and features a horse breeder hero. Readers say this one is slow to start with, but recommend powering through! There is a marriage of convenience aspect that reviewers really enjoyed.
A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare is $1.99! This is the first book in the much loved Spindle Cove series. Sarah has really enjoyed this series (though she says this one was her least favorite of the books). She also says the setting is wonderful and the characters, especially the women, are fantastic. Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho is $1.99! I thought we had reviewed this, but I seem to be wrong. We did, however, mention this book on a couple podcast episodes. This is a fantasy novel with some alternate history thrown in. Overall, readers seemed to love the cast of characters, but warn it’s slow to start.

The Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss is 99c! This is part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals, which also include some other romances. This is an Old Skool romance and for many, was their intro to the genre. I will warn you that there is rape and talk of it. For some, this book will hold a special place in readers’ hearts, while others say this one does not age well. What do you think?
