Year One by Nora Roberts is $2.99! Though the book is by Nora dang Roberts, this is more scifi/fantasy than a romance, at least in this one. The beginning is mysterious and hooked me in, but I quickly grew bored. However, Elyse loves this series, so your mileage may vary.
RECOMMENDED: After the Wedding by Courtney Milan is $1.99 at Amazon! This is book two in the Worth Saga and several of Milan’s other titles are available for less than $3. Carrie gave this book a B+ grade:
…it’s a great character study of two people with great chemistry, a great story about a terrible predicament with a happy ending, a good mix of intense emotion and humor, and a seamless continuation of the Worth saga.
A Match Made on Main Street by Olivia Miles is 99c! This is a second chance small town romance. Lately, I’ve been super into reading about foodie, chef-type characters, so if you’re into that as well, this might be a book for you! Though many readers loved the second chance romance aspect, a few felt that it lacked chemistry. It has a 3.8-star rating on Goodreads.
