Happiness for Beginners by Katherine Center is $1.99! Center’s books have been mentioned and recommended on the site before. This is one of her earlier works and apparently has been made into a Netflix adaptation. Have you read or watched this one?

The Ladies Rewrite the Rules is a “proper,” traditional Regency novel that reminds me of something I might have read years ago from a category line. The heat level stops at smooching and we don’t get a ton of angst or conflict. If you’re looking for a more modern voice (like Sarah MacLean vs Georgette Heyer) this isn’t the book for you. This book is grounded in good detail and good characters who undergo believable and meaningful arcs, but it’s basically the warm fuzzy socks of the book world – super comfortable and comforting, completely non-demanding, and not challenging in any way.
Wait for It by Mariana Zapata is $2.99! Zapata is an autobuy author for many of you and the book has an impressive 4.3-star rating on Goodreads. Though the heroine has ties to a character in one of Zapata’s previous books, it can be read as a standalone. For any Zapata fans out there, how did this book rate compared to her other romances?
