A Good Duke is Hard to Find by Christina Britton is $1.99! This is the first book in the Isle of Synne series and I’m sure it’s pronounced “sin” but my mind went to “sine” and I, for one, will avoid an island of calculus. No thank you!
Spellbound by Allie Therin is $1.99! This is part of today’s awesome lineup of Kindle Daily Deals. This is a gay fantasy historical romance with a dash of mystery. Most readers loved the writing, while others wished the execution were better. Reviews also mention that this one has closed door/off the page sex scenes.
Once a Rebel by Mary Jo Putney is $1.99! This is the second book in the historical romance Rogues Redeemed series. It’s also a friends to lovers romance! Readers enjoyed the setting of the War of 1812, but others found the conflicts were too easily solved.
The Butterfly Bride by Vanessa Riley is 99c! Elyse picked this one for October’s Hide Your Wallet. Readers really enjoyed the characters in this one, though felt the pacing could have been better. This is the third book in the Advertisements for Love series, though can be read on its own.
RECOMMENDED: A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean is $1.99! This is book one in the Rules of Scoundrels series, all of which take place in and around a gaming hall. This book was nominated for and won the RITA® for Best Historical in 2013.

There is a marriage of convenience (my own personal romance catnip if done well—and it is done very well here), and a hero and heroine who are both struggling with devastating self-esteem issues. This was a great story. It was engaging, entertaining and filled with scandal. This is the first story in The Rules of Scoundrels series and sets up the rest of the characters that will be involved in the series.
Ice Wolf by Jane Godman is 99c! This is a paranormal romance with shifters and the cover model totally looks like Ryan Gosling, right? Some readers felt there was too much world-building for their liking, while others noted it was a great start to a new series. It has a 4-star rating on Goodreads.
