Bridgerton season 3 is here! My plan was to leisurely watch one episode a week over the month between the first episodes dropping and the June 13 arrival of the final four episodes. Instead, I devoured all the available episodes in one night and have been soothing myself with Bridgerton thirst memes while I wait for the finale. Anyone else counting down the days? In the meantime, I’ve been rewatching the series, yet again. I … Continue reading Bridgerton, Season 3→
Welcome back to Wednesday Links! Big thank you to everyone who gave me eyedrops advice. It’s much appreciated and I’m excited to sally forth into allergy season with my new tools! I’m currently in a giant reading slump. I can’t seem to focus long enough to make progress, like I’d rather play a mindless phone game or grind out levels in Final Fantasy XIV. Is anyone feeling the same way? I may try the “30 minutes … Continue reading Links: Figure Skating, Romance, & More→
Season Two of Bridgerton is here and we have thoughts! In the second season, a widow and her two daughters, acerbic spinster Kate and her sociable younger sister Edwina, spend the last of their funds to travel from Bombay to London, and find Edwina a husband. Anthony, the head of the Bridgerton clan, thinks Edwina would be the perfect wife for a quiet, unromantic life; he just has to convince Edwina’s sister to stop hating … Continue reading Kiki and Shana watched Bridgerton 2→

Late last year, Shonda Rhimes (producer of TV hits like Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder) announced that she’d be taking her talents to Netflix. Well, now we have a better picture of what she’ll be working on for the streaming service. The Hollywood Reporter has released a sneak peek at the eight projects currently lined up. Of course, all of them sound awesome, but most importantly, Rhimes will be adapting The Bridgertons. Yes, those Bridgertons! An untitled … Continue reading Shonda Rhimes to Take on Julia Quinn’s Bridgertons→
Hey there! It’s Wednesday! I hope you all are doing great. I’m hosting my first romance event at a local brewery. I’m very nervous, but I hope it has a good turn out. I also have free books to give away. If you’re in the area, please stop by and say hello! … Many of you have enjoyed watching Set It Up on Netflix. Wednesday links are here! Essentially, the crop of links today are strictly romance and Carrie Fisher related, and I don’t think anyone will mind too terribly about that. I’ve been in South Florida for a week, dealing with family things, and I’ll be returning to the Northeast today to sleep in my own bed and cuddle my ornery senior cat. … Three cheers for Beverly Jenkins talking about romance and diversity over at Shondaland: Shondaland: … Continue reading Links: Beverly Jenkins, General Leia, & Podcasts→
Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and it’s bring price matched. I’ve had this recommended to me several times, especially on audio. Even most people who don’t normally read memoirs or self-help enjoyed this one. However, some admittedly found it to be slow and without direction.
