RECOMMENDED: The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen is $1.99 and a Kindle daily Deal! Allen is an auto-buy author for me and I just love the way she adds in some fabulism to her women’s fiction. Some readers felt that this book and its characters weren’t as great as Allen’s other novels. While others say that if you’re looking for something heartfelt and cozy, this should hit the spot.
Lost Lake by Sarah Addison Allen is $2.99! I can’t recommended Allen’s books highly enough and I love the magical realism she incorporates. However, some readers wished they could have identified more with the characters. Are you fan of Allen’s writing?
RECOMMENDED: Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen is $2.99! This author became an auto-buy for me after I read this book as a part of a GoodReads reading challenge. I would liken this book to women’s fiction with a magical realism slant. It’s heartwarming and beautiful and has a 4-star rating on GR. I even wrote a Keeper Shelf squee for it; that’s how much I love this book.
Meet Cute by Helena Hunting is $1.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal, which also features some more romances on sale. I made a yummy, boozy chocolate peanut butter milkshake for this release. Readers found this to be a little too cutesy, while others recommend this one for a bubbly and sweet romance.
Ice Hot by Tracy Goodwin is $1.99! This is a hockey romance and Elyse enjoyed this one and gave it a B. However, she does issue some content warnings, so be sure to read over the review first.
Ice Hot was a sexy celebrity romance with an emotionally fluent hero and a terrific heroine.
If you like enemies-to-lovers romance, then you probably want to read When a Marquess Loves a Woman. It’s got all my prerequisites for a good Regency romance–loads of sexual tension, a heroine who owns her shit, and epic sass-battles. Also canoodling in libraries. Also a stock market crash. There’s a lot going on in this book.

One Night with the Laird by Nicola Cornick is $1.99! The hero and heroine have had relations in the past and now the heroine needs the hero’s help, so there’s a second chance element. Readers say the sexytimes have a hint of BDSM to them (restraints), but that the villain was rather obvious.
Need You Now by Nicole Helm is $3.99! This is the first book in the Mile High Romance series. It’s a contemporary romance with opposites attract elements. If you like outdoorsy, Helm writes a lot of great ones. Readers seem divided on the hero. Some loved his grump nature, while others thought his grumpiness bordered on sad and rude.
RECOMMENDED: Uprooted by Naomi Novik is $2.99! A lot of people have recommended this book and Novik’s writing, but some readers did mention on Goodreads that the book is a bit slow at times. Do you love Novik’s writing? What did you think of this one?
