If you’ve never read this series, this is a terrific opportunity to start, especially as we’re nearing the 50th installment. The series is a unique combination romantic suspense and futuristic thriller – it’s set in New York in 2058. And it introduced one of the most-beloved heroes in romance.
Shades of Treason by Sandy Williams is $2.99! This is a scifi romance where the heroine and her former mentor experience pants feelings. Readers loved the amount of action in the book, but felt the ending was unresolved and seemed like a cliffhanger. The follow up book is $4.99, if you’re determined to continue.
Mission: Improper by Bec McMaster is $2.99 at Amazon! This is book one in the The Blue Blood Conspiracy series, which is a spin off of McMaster’s London Steampunk series. While not completely necessary, reviewers say that readers might understand the nuances of the romance and setting more if they’ve read the London Steampunk series.
