RECOMMENDED: The Boxing Baroness by Minerva Spencer is $2.99! Carrie reviewed this and gave it B+:
The more grounded in history the novel was, the more I liked it. For instance, I enjoyed seeing how Marianne trained every day. However, people with more patience for plot than I will love the same increasing complications that just made me want to take a nap. There’s something here for everyone and I look forward to the next book, The Dueling Duchess.
The Proposal by Mary Balogh is $1.99! This is the first book in her Survivor’s Club series, which is a favorite amongst the Bitchery. Readers loved the hero, Hugo, but I’ve never felt particularly moved to pick one up. Balogh fans, what do you love about her books?
Queen of the Conquered by Kacen Callender is $1.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal. I talked about this book on the podcast after attending BEA this year. If you’re in need of a book where a heroine embraces her grief and rage and seeks revenge, this certainly seems to fit the bill.
RECOMMENDED: An Unkindness of Magicians by Kat Howard is $1.99 at Amazon! So far, this deal hasn’t been price-matched. I would recommended this if you’re in a “burn it all down” mood. The book is violent, graphic, and the characters experience racism, sexism, and the like. But the main character is a witch who essentially wants to dismantle the ruling magic party because they’re terrible. I loved this one.

Other times, we realize we don’t have 1,000 words to say about a book. We hope you enjoy these three, as all of them were well reviewed!
