The Duke Who Didn’t was always going to be a book that made me happy. Humour, food, and a gentle hero who just wants the heroine to be less stressed are a pretty good formula for getting onto my keeper shelf.

A Duchess by Midnight by Charis Michaels is $1.99! This is the third book in the Awakened by a Kiss historical romance series. This is a Cinderella retelling with an “ugly stepsister” as the main character and a marriage of convenience.
Wrapped Up In You by Jill Shalvis is $1.99! This is the eighth book in the Heartbreaker Bay contemporary romance series. It’s also a small town holiday romance. Shalvis is an autobuy for a lot of readers and I know Elyse has had good experiences with her holiday romances specifically.
The Long Game is the sequel to Heated Rivalry, the rivals-to-lovers hockey romance that pairs Ilya, an infuriating Russian, with his hockey nemesis, sunny Shane. Heated Rivalry has a permanent home on my keeper shelf, but the book ends with a HFN. I was dying to revisit these two and see them have a more permanent HEA.
