Jana Goes Wild by Farah Heron is $2.99! This is Heron’s latest and was recommended on Hide Your Wallet. I remember Sarah being curious about the setting. Have any of you read this one?

Malice by Heather Walter is $1.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! This was mentioned in a previous Hide Your Wallet and is a spin on Sleeping Beauty. This is definitely on the darker side and has a romance between Princess Aurora and the evil sorceress.

RECOMMENDED: Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir is $4.99 and so is the follow-up, Harrow the Ninth. AJ and I did a lot of squeeing about this one on a podcast episode. Will you understand what’s going on? Probably not, but you’ll have a lot of fun being clueless. I also gave it a B+:
Gideon the Ninth is a unique and bloody bananapants book, and I do think it’s worth a reader’s curiosity. Gideon is an unforgettable protagonist.

RECOMMENDED: Aurora Blazing by Jessie Mihalik is $1.99! If you’re collecting the series and picked up the third book, this is a great deal. It’s the second book in a sci-fi romance series I love, but you can jump in here without reading the first. I gave it a B+:
If you’re part of the “Slow Burn Just Kiss Already Dammit” club, though, you’ll be white-knuckling this one.

RECOMMENDED: Lady Isabella’s Scandalous Marriage by Jennifer Ashley is $1.99! This is the second book in the Mackenzies series, and I love these books with my whole heart. I think this one would be fine as a standalone and I even made an angel food cake in honor of it.

There is some romance in it, but it’s not romance-centric. This book is … Continue reading Tess of the Road by Rachel Hartman
Cover Awe is back! This is where we talk about covers that we find striking or covers that catch our eye more than most. Obviously, our tastes are completely subjective, but we hope you like the discussion! Sarah: Does that look familiar? It reminds me of – oh! Good job, my brain: Amanda: That’s probably why I like it so much. Also when the heck are we going to get Dragon Age 4 news?! Plus, … Continue reading Cover Awe: Dragons, Hats, & More
