RECOMMENDED: The Ones Who Got Away by Roni Loren is $3.99! This romance came out in January and I really enjoyed it and its portrayal of people living with trauma. I gave it a B+, but as it deals with victims of gun violence, I completely understand why readers may want to avoid it.
If the subject matter doesn’t scare you off and your catnip is friends to lovers, slow burn-y goodness, The Ones Who Got Away is highly worth the read.
The Highlander’s Princess Bride by Vanessa Kelly is $1.99! This is the third book in the Improper Princesses series and can be read as a standalone. Some readers noticed this book is inspired by Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, if that’s your jam. Others mentioned that the book is rather long and can feel like it at times.
The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched! This is a book that was included in Elyse’s Uppercase Box subscription. Readers loved how there were some great plot twists that they didn’t see coming, but others thought there was too much stuff wrapped up in the abrupt ending. Have you read this one?
Forgotten Sins by Rebecca Zanetti is $1.99. This is the first book in her Sin Brothers series. This is intense erotic romantic suspense with an amnesiac hero. Readers loved the balance of action and romance, while others found the heroine TSTL. If you’re looking to fill some gaps in your library, the other books in the series are on sale, or you can grab all four books for less than $10.

RECOMMENDED: Bossypants by Tina Fey is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched, yay! I loved, loved, loved this book. More than I loved Yes, Please by Amy Poehler. It’s very funny and Fey makes it seem almost effortless. I have a hardcopy of this book and I refuse to lend it out from fear I’ll never get it back.
Act Like It by Lucy Parker is 99c! Sarah says, “I mean, I could squee at you some MORE beyond my review but I think you’ve heard me already. I loved this book. You should read it. It’s delightful.”
