Call Me Maybe by Cara Bastone is 99c! Bastone’s romances have been previously recommended in the comments. This one was originally released on audio and judging by the description, I’d assume it was pretty cute. This is also on the shorter side at a little over 200 pages.
RECOMMENDED: The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare is $1.99! There was some debate on how the heroine’s trauma was handled in this one (feel free to check Goodreads and the comments of Carrie’s review). It earned an A- grade:
It’s fun, it has pathos, there are clothes both hilariously awful and droolingly lovely, it contains found family, and it has plentiful humor. A keeper, for sure.
Shrill by Lindy West is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched. I also encourage you to check out the rest of today’s deals too. They’re all nonfiction and include Roxane Gay, a Kennedy bio, and more. The book does deal with Lindy’s experience with eating, rape culture, and internet trolls, so there’s some pretty heavy stuff. It has a 4.2-star rating on Goodreads.
The Royal Treatment by Melanie Summers is 99c at Amazon! This is a contemporary royal romance with an enemies to lovers theme. If you’re looking for a romantic comedy, readers recommend this one. However, others wanted more conflict between the hero and heroine before falling in love. Also, content warning for suicide as part of backstory according to reviews.
