RECOMMENDED: The Blighted Stars by Megan E. O’Keefe is $2.99! Elyse loved this scifi with romantic elements and gave it an A, but gave a warning:
The Blighted Stars is the first book in a series, so we don’t get a ton of resolution in this novel, romantic or otherwise. If you’re looking for a complete romantic arc, don’t start this book.

I enjoyed this story a lot. It contains many of the elements that feel like a traditional Western to me – scenes of blizzards and horse-breaking, confrontations in the local saloon, slick shysters from out East come to take advantage of the locals – but the central characters buck the stereotypes in numerous ways.
One Dance with a Duke by Tessa Dare is $3.99! This is the first book in Dare’s Stud Club trilogy and features a horse breeder hero. Readers say this one is slow to start with, but recommend powering through! There is a marriage of convenience aspect that reviewers really enjoyed.
The Scandalous Flirt by Olivia Drake is $2.99! This is part of the Cinderella Sisterhood series and it’s currently a finalist for a 2018 RITA in the Long Historical category. Readers loved the enemies to lovers, but within the first few pages, there is a magical g*psy character.
Public Relations by Katie Heaney and Arianna Rebolini is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched. Yay! This book is pretty high up on my TBR pile and I remember Sarah saying it has some pretty excellent banter. It has a fake relationship element, which readers love, but they wanted more in terms of romance.
