Meet Cute Club by Jack Harbon is $2.99 at Amazon! This is a M/M contemporary romance with two enemies joining forces to save one of the heroes’ romance book club. Readers loved Jordan, who unabashedly loves romance novels, but had difficulties with Rex.

RECOMMENDED: Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt is $1.99! I listened to this on audio after Elyse’s great review and loved it. I’ve since listened to the next two Maiden Lane books on audio as well. Elyse really enjoyed this book and gave it an A-:
Serial killer. And Ghost of St. Giles vigilante. And river pirate. And bondage.
If any or all of those things appeal to you, I’d really recommend this book. If you’re looking for a spicy historical, or one not focused around the glittering aristocracy, Wicked Intentions fits the bill. Aside from a few ball scenes, this book takes place among the working class of London.

RECOMMENDED: Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and I highly recommend you checking out the others, which include books by Harper Lee, Karen Abbot, and more. RHG read this one and gave it a B+:
Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows is not a romance first and foremost, though there is a romance plot among the many others. It is, however, a story about women’s self understanding, and turning against the definition and enforcement of their sexuality to discover it for themselves.

PODCAST RECOMMENDED: Take the Lead by Alexis Daria is $1.99! This is a contemporary romance that takes place on a dancing competition TV show. There’s also a gruff hero! If those things haven’t convinced you yet, Sonali Dev also recommended it on a previous podcast episode.

So there’s a lot of recent death in these people’s lives. The female lead, April, is scared of commitment and not very good with children but is a very … Continue reading Christmas on Crimson Mountain by Michelle Major
There’s a lot of tugging at heartstrings in Michelle Major’s Christmas on Crimson Mountain. I hadn’t read anything by Major before, let alone any other books in this series, and I found it enjoyable and readable as a standalone. There were a handful of previous protagonists who drifted in to dutifully display their successfully-paired-off status, but I didn’t find it flagrantly obtrusive or detracting from the central romance. Which is good, because April and Connor … Continue reading Christmas on Crimson Mountain by Michelle Major
