Beyond the Sunrise by Mary Balogh is $3.99! This is a second chance historical romance with class differences. Readers liked the setting of Spain and Portugal. Some readers thought the hero of this one didn’t really stand out as much compared to Balogh’s other heroes, but many recommend A Certain Magic if you’re looking to read some of Balogh’s earlier romances. It has a 3.8-star rating on Goodreads.

RECOMMENDED: Falling into Bed with a Duke by Lorraine Heath is $1.99! This was Elyse’s first Heath book and she gave it a B+:
When I picked up this book, I wanted something that would pull me out of crappy day and the dead mouse smell that we couldn’t pinpoint in the office. So I took this book to the coffee shop, grabbed a cup of English breakfast, and proceeded to get lost in the Victorian Era. Falling Into Bed With a Duke is good like that–it’s a one-sitting book that draws you in because you’re so in love with the hero and heroine. The only reason this book didn’t get an A is because I was disappointed a bit by the end.
Who doesn’t love a good party in general, right? They’re often fun, especially with a few cohorts in attendance, and sometimes they can have a pretty decent food and drink selection. The heroine in The Lady Hellion is Lady Sophia Barnes, the daughter of a Marquess… and sometimes known as Sir Stephen Radcliffe, a young pup of a dude who shows up at gaming hells and brothels while investigating missing women. (YES IT IS A CROSS-DRESSING TROPE YAY). She’s known Quint forever, and held a torch for him for at least that long. He’s also held a torch for her, so we also have two idiots who can’t use their fucking words.
I love a good “Can’t use their fucking words” story in the hands of a good writer.
