Slightly Married by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in the Bedwyn Saga, which is a favorite amongst romance readers. Seriously, I get some many requests on Instagram for similar books to this series. Have you read this one?

RECOMMENDED: A Week to Be Wicked by Tessa Dare is $1.99! This is the second book in the Spindle Cove series and Carrie gave this book an A-:

Indiscreet by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in the Horseman Trilogy. The third book in the trilogy, Irresistible, is on sale for $1.99! Readers call this a “fluffy Regency” and found the romance to be pretty darn sweet. However, some found the romance a bit slow going at times. This is also a rerelease, as the original book was published in 1997.

Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie is $2.99! I know Carrie really loves this book (and the entire series, I believe). It’s also a Hugo Award winner! Readers really loved the scifi world building, though some admitted wanting more action in the first book of the Imperial Radch series. This book is a Kindle Daily Deal of scifi and thrillers. Other books included in the deal are The Fifth Season, New York 2140, and more!

Someone to Wed somehow manages to both be a feel-good read and full of emotional catharsis. It hurts so good, you guys. I had all the feelings. So many feelings. Like a number of Balogh’s books, it’s a romance about healing – especially creating the space in which to heal – and that’s a plotline that works so well for me. At the age of twenty-nine, Wren Heyden is firmly on the shelf. Up until … Continue reading Someone to Wed by Mary Balogh →

It’s Hide Your Wallet time! This is where we talk about upcoming books that release this month, and we do our damnedest not to feel the sting of overdraft fees. Below are the books we’re personally waiting to read, but here are a few others that might be on your TBR pile: Artemis by Andy Weir is out – MOON HEIST! E.L. James returns to her Fifty Shades series with Darker . Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series is still going … Continue reading November’s New Releases →

Heart of Obsidian by Nalini Singh is $1.99! This is the twelfth book in the Psy-Changeling series and was incredibly anticipated when it first came out. If you’re new to the series, you probably don’t want to start with this one. However, if you’re trying to fill up your Singh library, her books are rarely on sale, so grab this one while you can.

Someone To Love is an interesting romance novel because it deals with two people who are highly skilled at concealing their emotions. This book is relatively slow and calm and quiet but with so much emotion just beneath the surface. Overall, I loved it, but when it had problems… boy, were they big ones. The story involves Anna Snow, who was raised in an orphanage. Unlike many institutions of the day, the establishment was well … Continue reading Someone to Love by Mary Balogh →

It’s November! And holy heck where has 2016 gone? Not that I’m complaining, because it’s been a slight trash fire, but at least that means more books on the horizon. Before we get to what we’re really pumped for, below are some popular titles that we know will be on many TBR piles: Stephanie Plum is back to her old adventures in Turbo Twenty Three Zadie Smith is out with a new novel, titled Swing Time For … Continue reading November’s New Releases →
