Readers call this a “fluffy Regency” and found the romance to be pretty darn sweet. However, some found the romance a bit slow going at times. This is also a rerelease, as the original book was published in 1997.
Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie is $2.99! I know Carrie really loves this book (and the entire series, I believe). It’s also a Hugo Award winner! Readers really loved the scifi world building, though some admitted wanting more action in the first book of the Imperial Radch series. This book is a Kindle Daily Deal of scifi and thrillers. If you’re new to the series, you probably don’t want to start with this one. However, if you’re trying to fill up your Singh library, her books are rarely on sale, so grab this one while you can.
