Someone to Romance by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is book seven in the Westcott series. I don’t think it’s necessary to read them in order, but I know the characters are interconnected and it might make for a more enriching experience. Do you have a favorite in the series?

It’s such a wonderful, spooky, thrilling story that it’s hard to put down. It’s a book about imperfect parents, teenage dissatisfaction, and female empowerment and it unfolds beautifully. It’s also a remarkable ghost story.
A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair is $2.24! This is a Hades & Persephone fantasy romance that skews more toward the erotic side. I know St. Clair gained a huge following in some of the self-pub/indie pub spaces. Have you read anything by her? Thoughts?
RECOMMENDED: The Arctic Fury by Greer Macallister is $2.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! Carrie gave this historical mystery a B+.
I loved this book. It kept me in suspense and when it was over I wanted to read it again. It sent me down many Google rabbit holes, which is my favorite kind of book. I recommend this for people who aren’t averse to ambiguity, who like stories of adventure and exploration as well as intersectional examinations of women’s lives, and to people who like mystery/thrillers.
RECOMMENDED: The Switch by Beth O’Leary is $2.99! Catherine read this one and gave it an A:
It’s a very gentle, wholesome sort of book. I read it last week when I was sick, and it was really the perfect book to curl up with if one is under the weather.
Neon Gods by Katee Robert is $1.99! I don’t think this has been on sale before, but has a ton of buzz. This is close to the top of my TBR pile and I’ve heard so many good things. Are you a fan?
RECOMMENDED: Girls of Brackenhill by Kate Moretti is $1.99! Elyse reviewed this thriller last year and and gave it a B+ and mentioned there was a twist she didn’t see coming:
Girls of Brackenhill is spooky and thrilling and contains all the Gothic elements I love. It’s a fun read for your dark winter nights.

RECOMMENDED: Blamed by Edie Harris is $2.99! I loved this romantic suspense, especially the part where the heroine thinks the hero is dead and the moment where they reunite. But I will warn you that it’s incredibly violent. I gave it an A-:
This book was an amazingly pleasant surprise and I lost track of the number of good book noises I made while reading it. I’m still getting my feet wet when it comes to romantic suspense, but I picked a good book to try out.
