Bittersweet by Sarina Bowen is 99c at Amazon! It doesn’t seem to be a Kindle Daily Deal, so hopefully it’ll start being price-matched. I’ve heard great things about this book and it has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads. Readers loved the writing and sense of place created, but others found there to be too much farm talk and a lackluster romance. I also believe this was mentioned at our RT17 Reader Recommendation Party!
RECOMMENDED: The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett is 99c! This is the first book in the much loved Discworld series. There’s magic and lots of quirky humor, though admittedly, the series isn’t for everyone. So don’t worry if you give it a shot and it’s not for you. It has a 3.9-star rating on Goodreads.
Worth the Risk by Claudia Connor is 99c! This is the second book in the McKinney Brothers contemporary romance series. The first book, Worth the Fall ( A | BN | K | G | AB ), has been a huge hit with the Bitchery in the past. These books are often emotional, and be forewarned that this particular title has a heroine who works with children who are victims of trauma. It has a 4.2-star rating on Goodreads.
