Flare Up by Shannon Stacey is $1.99! This is a price-matched Kindle Daily Deal and part of the Boston Fire series. As the description notes, the heroine has some abuse in her backstory, which may or may not work for you as a reader. Personally, I am a little over it, but YMMV.

The Truth About Cowboys by Lisa Renee Jones is 99c! This is the first book in a new series and seems to have a lot of catnip, but also a lot going on: small town, an athlete turned cowboy, opposites attract, and a writer heroine. Fans of Jones say they enjoyed the departure from her typical romantic suspense.
RECOMMENDED: Texas Destiny by Lorraine Heath is $2.99! Jessie, who was a publicist at Avon, is a huge fan of this book, and has been since forever. she wrote A Love Letter to Texas Destiny a few years ago, and said:
There’s so much angst and heartache and tenderness and joy in this book, I’m overwhelmed with emotions every time I read it (which is maybe once or twice a year for the past ten years).
When a Duke Loves a Woman by Lorraine Heath is $1.99! This is the second book in the Sins for All Seasons series, though I believe it can be read on its own.
