Racked and Stacked by Lorelei James is $1.99! This is part of her Blacktop Cowboys series and can be read as a standalone. I’m more familiar with James’ erotic western romances, though I’m pretty sure this series isn’t as steamy as say her Rough Riders series.
Wilde in Love by Eloisa James is $1.99! This is the first book in The Wildes of Lindow Castle. Some readers DNF-ed this on Goodreads citing lack of chemistry between the characters or boredom. However, other fans of James were excited about this new series. Which camp are you in?
When All the Girls Have Gone by Jayne Ann Krentz is $1.99! Elyse read this one and gave it a B:
I could have used a little more depth to Max and Charlotte’s relationship, but aside from that, I found When All the Girls Have Gone to be a solid romantic mystery without any terrifying elements, and I’ll definitely be picking up the next book in the series.

RECOMMENDED: The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch is $1.99! This is a gritty fantasy with an anti-hero protagonist. I loved this book and it’s a lot of fun. I also believe it was recommended by Sarah’s husband on a previous podcast episode. It’s a lot of fun, but definitely is heavy on violence and some gross stuff.
RECOMMENDED: The Last Wolf by Maria Vale is $1.99! This sale is only available for the next couple days. I really enjoyed this book and its departure from the usual shifter mythology. Be warned though, there is violence in the book and it is very descriptive. Have you read this one as well?

A Certain Age by Beatriz Williams is $1.99! This is a historical fiction novel set in New York’s Jazz Age. This book was released earlier this summer and readers loved the sense of place Williams created. It’s also a retelling of an opera, which is pretty cool! However, others found the story a bit underwhelming compared to the jacket copy. It has a 3.6-star rating on Goodreads.
Saddled and Spurred by Lorelei James is $1.99! James is pretty much the queen of erotic contemporary westerns and her books are rarely on sale. This is an opposites attract romance between a cattleman and a “pampered town beauty.” Readers said they loved this book more than the previous one and that it had a good balance of plot with the eroticism. It has a 4.2-star rating on Goodreads.
