To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers is $1.99! This one, I believe, is a stand alone sci-fi novel. Chambers is an auto-buy for most of us and if you’ve missed it, check out the podcast episode she did with Sarah!
The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold is $1.99! This fantasy novel has been recommended several times in the site’s comments over the years. Some readers felt their interest in the main character waned, but overall, they enjoyed the plot. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads.
American Sweethearts by Adriana Herrera is $1.99! This is book four in the Dreamers contemporary romance series. Herrera’s romances have been reviewed favorably on the site and have often been featured in Hide Your Wallet. Are you a Herrera fan?
Trashed by Mia Hopkins is $2.99! This is part of Hopkins’ Eastside Brewery series. Though I haven’t read any of Hopkins’ titles, I will say they get routinely recommended at my romance book club and I know Aarya has good things to say about them. But FYI, I believe this book is told through the hero’s POV.
All three of these books are in a similar grade range, which is why I wanted to group them together, but they are very different. There is fantasy on audio, a f/f workplace romance with an ice queen doctor, and a contemporary romance with a grumpy Scotsman.
