To Catch a Raven by Beverly Jenkins is $1.99! This was mentioned in a previous Hide Your Wallet and I believe is the latest book in the Women Who Dare series. Do you have a favorite book in the series?

Deal with the Devil by Kit Rocha is $2.99! Sneezy reviewed this one and gave it a B:
Despite my confusion regarding some of the worldbuilding, the characters and their relationships are developed beautifully, and the entire story thrummed with the sort of vitality that you can only get from a post-apocalyptic road trip with suped-up BAMFs. I can’t rave enough about the emotional literacy this book is built on, which I find incredibly catnippy.

Leia: Princess of Alderaan by Claudia Gray is 99c! We ran a wonderful guest post by Crystal on Gray’s Star Wars novels and this one is definitely mentioned:
In this book, Leia is a bold, idealistic teenage girl, in training for her role as ruler, and undergoing the trials that will prove her fitness for it. We get to see her relationship with her parents, Bail and Breha Organa. Breha, especially, gives us an understanding of why Leia is the woman she is.

Heiress Gone Wild by Laura Lee Guhrke is $1.99 at select vendors! I’m a huge fan of Guhrke’s earlier romances, though haven’t kept up with her newer ones. We’ve had several reviews of those, though, and they seem to be all over the place in terms of grade. Catherine gave this particular one a D, but as always, your mileage may vary.

Shrill by Lindy West is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched. The book does deal with Lindy’s experience with eating, rape culture, and internet trolls, so there’s some pretty heavy stuff. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads.

RECOMMENDED: A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer is $1.99 at Amazon! This is part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals and isn’t being price-matched yet. This one was recommended to Carrie and she really enjoyed it, giving the book an A-:
I enjoyed the way this book both used and subverted Beauty and the Beast tropes. There’s a good blend of angst and humor and worldbuilding.

RECOMMENDED: Wrong to Need You by Alisha Rai is $3.99! This is the notorious cat pee book. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read Elyse’s review:
I do not think I can possibly endorse Wrong to Need You more strongly than “it will make you forget you’re sitting in cat pee,” but if I could, I would, because this book is everything wonderful. It’s angsty and cathartic and sexy…

Getting Hot with the Scot by Melonie Johnson is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched. Sarah had Melonie on the podcast and they have a lovely discussion about the book’s inception. Have you read this one?

How to Lose a Duke in Ten Days by Laura Lee Guhrke is $1.99! This historical romance is the second book in An American Heiress in London series. Featuring a marriage of convenience, our heroine only agrees to marry the hero because he’ll be living his life out on another continent, until a near death experience brings him back home. Readers do give a trigger warning for rape and abuse, which divided many reviewers.

Governess Gone Rogue by Laura Lee Guhrke is $1.99! This historical romance is part of the Dear Lady Truelove series and features a single parent hero with twin boys and a heroine who disguises herself. Readers say this is a great tender and sweet romance. However, be warned that this one is a very slow burn.

His Runaway Campfire Princess by Gwen Hayes is 99c at Amazon! This contemporary romance sounds adorable with a princess running off to Singles’ Week at a camp. Be warned that it’s on the shorter side and some of the book’s description makes me slightly wary (bring her to heel? really?).
