So I loved Take a Hint, Dani Brown. How much? I joined the Bad Decisions Book Club on the reread. Which started right after I had finished it the first time. Yes. I knew exactly where the book was going to go and I could not put it down. Honestly, I’m reading it a third time.
The Beast of Beswick by Amalie Howard is 99c! Catherine reviewed this one and gave it a B-:
I enjoyed the complexity of the characters, and I was especially intrigued by Isobel, whose inner life is so opaque to her sister, and yet clearly quite well-developed. There’s a lot of heat and sensuality in the book, and some lovely moments of humour. These are all really big positives.
The Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo is $2.99! This was a previous Hide Your Wallet pick for me, as I loved Choo’s The Ghost Bride. It’s a mix of historical fiction, mythology, romance, and magical realism. Have you read this one?
RECOMMENDED: Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton is $2.99! It’s also part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals. Carrie gave this one an A-, but warns it’s definitely not a romance. Definitely skim her review to see if this book is right for you:

RECOMMENDED: The Blacksmith Queen by G.A. Aiken is $2.99! What a coincidence, as this was my one pick for hilarious reading in our latest Ready Set Go. I also gave this an A-. Seriously, it’s so much fun:
The Blacksmith Queen is a bloody, feminist romp that exudes girl power in all forms, and I’m envious of its fantasy girl squad.
This Scot of Mine by Sophie Jordan is $1.99! This is part of the Rogue Files historical romance series. The description mentions a marriage of convenience, but also sounds hella angsty. Readers enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters, though felt the plot was paper thin.
RECOMMENDED: Wake of Vultures by Lila Bowen is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched! Carrie really liked this book and gave it an A-:
This book succeeds because Nettie is such a compelling character. Nettie is incredibly vibrant, prickly, compelling, flawed, exciting, and interesting. She’s compelling because all her experiences and aspects of her personality and her sharp mind come together to create a complex person who you just have to root for.
Slightly Married by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in the Bedwyn Saga, which is a favorite amongst romance readers. Seriously, I get some many requests on Instagram for similar books to this series. Have you read this one?
RECOMMENDED: The One You Can’t Forget by Roni Loren is $1.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being price-matched. Be sure to check out the rest of today’s deals; there’s a Nora Roberts in there! I love this series and highly recommend any of the books in it. However, please be warned that it deals with the aftermath of a school shooting.
Midsummer Moon by Laura Kinsale is $1.99! This has been discussed and recommended on a few previous podcasts and is a little lighter on angst than Kinsale’s other romances. For many readers, this was one of their first romances and as a bonus, it has an adorable hedgehog. Have you read this one?
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is $1.99! This book and series is insanely popular and has Beauty and the Beast elements. However, some felt it didn’t live up to the hype or it had too much sexxxytimes for a YA-positioned book. Have you read this one?
