Too Hard to Forget by Tessa Bailey is $1.99! This is the third book in the Romancing the Clarksons series, but it can be read on its own. I’m a Bailey fan, but this series wasn’t my favorite. There’s a forbidden relationship element that some people weren’t sold on, though many readers said the hero does an amaaaaazing grovel. It has 3.9-star rating on Goodreads.

This month, we have a very special sponsored Covers and Cocktails! I had so much fun working on these drinks and since there are seven books (seven!) to discuss, I’m just going to get into without much preamble. My inspiration has come from the The Kristen Proby Crossover Collection! Proby has teamed up with 1001 Dark Nights and six other romance authors to create a collection of romances that cross over with her Big Sky … Continue reading Covers & Cocktails: The Kristen Proby Mini-Cocktail Collection →

Wicked, My Love by Susanna Ives is $1.99! This is the second book in the Wicked Little Secrets. The other books are also discounted, as in the first book is FREE. Readers loved the opposites attraction, enemies to lovers romance, but found the heroine to be frustrating at times.

Butterface by Avery Flynn is 99c! I believe this is part of today’s deals. This contemporary romance is billed as a romantic comedy with some fake relationship elements. Be warned that the heroine is incredibly self-conscious about her looks, and there seems to be a lot of internal critical comments, if you’re sensitive to those things.

The Trouble with Grace by Jenn LeBlanc is 99c at Amazon and iBooks! This historical romance serves as a prequel for the next book and seems to feature a triad of sorts. Readers recommend this one for those wanting a different sort of historical romance, while others said it was hard to get invested in the romance.

Sleepless in Manhattan by Sarah Morgan is 99c! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being matched elsewhere. Yay! This is the first book in a new series and readers loved how fun it was and note there’s some pretty great female friendships. However, others mention slow pacing and the lackluster chemistry between the hero and heroine.

Ride Hard by Laura Kaye is $1.99! This is the first book in the Raven Riders series, which features a motorcycle club and some suspense elements. Readers mentioned that the first quarter was rather slow, while others loved seeing the heroine grow and find her voice. Have you read this one?

First Touch by Laurelin Paige is $1.99 at Amazon and Kobo! It’s also $2.99 at All Romance. I mentioned in on December’s Hide Your Wallet post. This is definitely on the darker side and does have a cliffhanger. Some readers had trouble connecting with the heroine, but many say this is a book that will grab you and not let go. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads.

Premiere is 99c! This is the first collection of romances from the Romance Writers of America, and how fitting now that RWA 2015 is underway! This collection has a little bit of everything – contemporary, paranormal, new adult, historical, and it seems like many other genres. Authors include Courtney Milan, Sylvia Day, Laura Kaye, and more!

SEAL of Honor by Tonya Burrows is $1.99! This is the first book in her romantic suspense HORNET series, which I’m guessing has nothing to do with the insect. I’m assuming that the other titles in the series will follow the rest of the hero’s team members, at least that’s what I’m hoping! Readers thought Burrows captured a great balance between romance and suspense, though some felt the plot got a little bit muddled halfway through the book. It has a 4-star rating on GoodReads.
