Be Mine Forever by Kennedy Ryan is $1.99 This is book three in the Bennet series. Ryan’s books are superb, with strong emotions and complex characters. Did any of you pick this up last time it was on sale?
RECOMMENDED: The Blacksmith Queen by G.A. Aiken is $3.99! (Or free with KU!) This was my one pick for hilarious reading in our Ready Set Go. I also gave this an A-. Seriously, it’s so much fun:
The Blacksmith Queen is a bloody, feminist romp that exudes girl power in all forms, and I’m envious of its fantasy girl squad.
Consort of Fire by Kit Rocha is $1.99! This is book one in Bound to Fire and Steel fantasy romance series. Book two is also on sale. Have you read either book? What did you think?
The Bodyguard by Katherine Center is $2.99! I mentioned this one on a previous Hide Your Wallet and was tempted by the bodyguard heroine. However, it’s still in my to-read stack. Have you read this one?
Loving You Always by Kennedy Ryan is $1.99! This is book two in The Bennett Series. This was released in 2014, but I believe is having a resurgence from the publisher due to new cover designs.
RECOMMENDED: The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty is $1.99 for today only! Carrie squeed about this one:
I adored every part of this story – the stakes, the world-building, the language, the characters, and the action. I can’t wait to read more of it.
The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan is $2.24 at Amazon and $2.99 elsewhere! If you’ve been looking to try out Ryan’s steamy, angsty contemporaries, this isn’t a bad deal This is the first book in the series and I believe the first book has a bit of a cliffhanger.
RECOMMENDED: When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare is $1.99! If you haven’t read a Dare book before or have missed out on this one, I highly suggest rectifying that problem. Elyse loved this book so much and gave it an A:
Everything about When a Scot Ties the Knot by Tessa Dare worked for me. Everything. Bust out the squee mop, y’all because this review is just going to be a flappy-hands Good Book Noise® mess.
Things this book has:
1. A sexy Scot hero I pictured as Sam Heughan.
2. A heroine who is a naturalist and illustrator.
3. Tons of UST.
4. A completely crazy sauce plot that Dare pulls off flawlessly.
5. A missing lobster.
The Kraken’s Sacrifice by Katee Robert is $2.49! This is book two in the Deal with a Demon series. This is under 200 pages and feels like a rare miss from Robert, based on the Goodreads review average.
