To Woo a Wicked Widow by Jenna Jaxon is 99c! This is the first book in The Widows’ Club and some of the subsequent books are also 99c. This has a heroine who is trying to avoid getting married again. Readers seemed divided on the heroine. Some enjoyed her independence, while others couldn’t really connect with her.

I know last Hide Your Wallet we instituted some changes. Well now we have more, thanks to the comment left by Katie C. A lot of you expressed wanting to keep the wide breadth of new releases and Katie’s suggestion was pretty great. We’re still keeping our book maximums (five per person), but have added an extra HYW post per month, allowing another five books per person. This is the first book in a historical mystery series, which is perfect timing if you’ve exhausted all the current historical mystery series recommendations. Cate Wilde is a FBI Special Agent who is taking some time off after being shot on the job. She’s staying with her grandmother on Widow’s Island, where she grew up, when a skeleton of a young woman is found on nearby Ruby Island. Cate … Continue reading Close to the Bone by Kendra Elliot →

Wires and Nerve is a graphic novel by Marissa Meyer based in the Lunar Chronicles setting. The Charley Davidson series by … Continue reading January’s New Releases →
