Among my favorite things about Laurenston’s writing is how very affirming and inspiring and a whole lot of fun it is, because angry, fearless women make room for themselves, they get shit done, and they’re the heroines. More honey badgers, please.
Not Always a Saint by Mary Jo Putney is $1.99! This is also the most recent release in the Lost Lords series and was mentioned on a previous podcast. Many readers loved the hero and heroine separately, but found things lacking in their romance. Another Lost Lords historical romance is also on sale!
RECOMMENDED: The Principle of Desire by Delphine Dryden is $2.99! I’m not sure if this is the regular price of the book or a sale price, but the rest of the series is also $2.99 each. I will also warn that it’s more of a novella-length romance. Sarah reviewed this book and gave it a B, enjoying the smart characters doing sexy things:
The Principle of Desire combined a lot of things I love, like super-smart characters and terrific heroes growing in their own self confidence, nerd and geek culture, and visiting characters from prior books and finding themselves still awesome. I really liked this one, and I recommend all three.
