RECOMMENDED: Slouch Witch by Helen Harper is 99c at Amazon! I bough this urban fantasy when we featured it on sale last year, and even convinced Sarah to buy it. We squeed over it in a previous podcast, but are really eh on the next book. The first has a non-cliffhanger ending, but it wasn’t satisfying in terms of the romance.

The Immortals by Jordanna Max Brodsky is $2.99! This is the first book in the Olympus Unbound. Sarah gave the first book a B grade. I highly recommend reading Sarah’s review to get a full sense of whether this book may be for you.
When I started reading it, I had a really difficult time putting it down. The world building made for addictive reading, even when I was reading things I usually don’t read.

RECOMMENDED: The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch is $1.99! This is a gritty fantasy with an anti-hero protagonist. I loved this book and it’s a lot of fun. I also believe it was recommended by Sarah’s husband on a previous podcast episode. It’s a lot of fun, but definitely is heavy on violence and some gross stuff.
