Duke of Darkness by Anabelle Bryant is 99c This is the second book in the Three Regency Rogues series and the first and third books are also on sale! This is a romance between a man and his ward, which I know is catnip for some of you. However, some readers felt the book lacked a tremendous amount of historical accuracy.
Wilde in Love by Eloisa James is $2.99! This is the first book in The Wildes of Lindow Castle and it came out at the end of October. Readers loved the characters and the blend of humor in the romance. However, some readers on Goodreads admitted that they gave the book the dreaded DNF (did not finish) grade.

Overall, I think this book contains a fabulous world with a terrific, galloping adventure through a vivid and wrenching underworld. While I was reading it, I had a hard time putting it down. But the story has most of its strength in the plot and the world-building than in the characters and their emotional development and consistency, and I missed those aspects even while I enjoyed the rest.
